Spa-Like Master Bathroom Expansion With Oversized Walk-In Shower
This homeowner came to us wanting more space, more function, and a bathroom that didn’t just work – but felt like a retreat. So we got to work transforming their dated master bath into something worthy of the title.
We started by removing an old closet to open up the footprint and make room for a freestanding tub and a massive 9 ft by 5 ft walk-in shower. From there, we extended all the plumbing, added a sleek 72-inch vanity, installed waterproofing and tile throughout, and brought the space to life with new lighting, finishes, and moldings.
By the time we were done, they had a high-end space that felt custom, calming, and completely theirs – all for $42,000. The walk-in shower, with its full waterproof system and detailed tilework, was the biggest investment in the project – and absolutely worth it.
A Relocated Master Bathroom That Checks Every Box
In this project, the homeowners didn’t just want to remodel their master bath – they wanted to move it entirely. So, we helped them bring a brand-new layout to life based on their architect’s design.
We handled everything from the custom 28 sq. ft. shower pan and waterproofing, to full tile installation on the walls, floor, and shower base. After running all new plumbing lines and installing every fixture from scratch, we finished the space with new lighting, outlets, paint, and trim.
The final result was clean, luxurious, and built from the ground up to match their vision. This bathroom was part of a larger home renovation, but their portion of the work came in at $58,000 – with the shower relocation and new layout being the biggest drivers of the investment.
Small Bathroom, Big Transformation
This hallway bathroom proves that even a compact 8×8 space can pack a punch. The homeowners were ready to ditch their old setup and make the most of every square foot – and that’s exactly what we delivered.
We started by gutting the space to the studs, then installed all-new plumbing, wiring, and fixtures. A custom shower with waterproofed tile walls and floor became the focal point, and thoughtful touches like recessed LED lighting, GFCI outlets, and a custom-built closet made the room feel both elegant and functional.
The full remodel came in at $19,000, with the stand-up shower – including the custom mud pan and all tiling – being the biggest upgrade and most valuable feature.

380 Sq. Ft. Kitchen Remodel in Manasquan, NJ
This kitchen had great bones but needed a full refresh ; so we tore out the old cabinets, breakfast bar, and soffits and built a new wall extension to reshape the layout. Then we rerouted all the plumbing, electrical, and gas lines to match the new plan.
We added shaker cabinets, quartz countertops, a full tile backsplash, and new LVP flooring throughout. The recessed lighting and fresh paint really pulled everything together. The total came to $68,000, with about $6K going into the flooring and tile finishes.
The most expensive item was the countertop and cabinets, priced at $30,000.
350 Sq. Ft. Kitchen Remodel in Wall, NJ
This was a wall-to-wall transformation; literally. We removed a 13-foot separation wall, installed a massive 22-foot support beam, and opened the space up for a brand-new kitchen layout.
We relocated windows, rerouted all the plumbing and electrical, and installed custom cabinetry with an 8-foot island and quartz counters. We even matched new hardwood to the old flooring by sanding and staining it all to blend. Total quote was $63,000, with countertops running around $7–8K.
500 Sq. Ft. Kitchen Remodel in Holmdel, NJ
This was a big one; 500 square feet of space to work with. We demoed everything, took down a laundry wall, and installed new structural beams to support the open concept.
Then we went in with custom cabinetry, a massive 8-foot island, new waterproofed tile flooring, and full quartz countertops and backsplash. It’s a sharp, modern kitchen now, finished with beautiful trim and detailing. The total came in at $62,732, with the the cabinets and countertops being the biggest cost drivers, priced at $22,500.

Renewal Solutions finished our basement a couple of months ago. We went from a concrete basement with nothing in it to an open concept fully finished basement where we then installed a gym and are planning to install a sauna. Renewal Solutions handled all the electrical for our sauna as well.
We had a lot of custom requests and updated the scope of work a few times without any issues. Working with Renewal Solutions was easy, quick and problem free.
The team was very respectful and clean, they cleaned up really well after each day’s work and did very high quality work (as confirmed by multiple inspectors and contractors we hired for other jobs later).
They are super responsive and we loved that they were a family business, so we got to deal directly with owners. The prices were very competitive as well. We took multiple photos throughout the whole process and a final video at the end, attaching them all here.

From Damp to Dreamy: A Basement Built to Last
This 200 sq. ft. basement in need of serious love turned into a cozy, functional retreat thanks to a complete renovation and a focus on staying dry. We started by framing out new walls, staircase access, and doorway openings, then handled all the electrical so the space could shine with LED recessed lights and new outlets.
To protect against future moisture issues, we installed a brand-new French drain system with an upgraded sump pump, a big part of the investment, but a huge peace-of-mind upgrade.
Once the bones were in place, we hung mildew-resistant sheetrock, primed, and painted it. Fresh luxury vinyl plank flooring went in, and we finished the stairs with new pine treads, painted and sealed.
The project came in at $39,000, with the drainage system taking up about $10k–$12k of that total, worth every penny for long-term protection.
Bright, Modern, and Low-Maintenance: A 1,200 Sq. Ft. Basement Makeover
This wasn’t a full gut-and-redo; it was a smart, focused refresh. And it made a huge difference.
In this 1,200 sq. ft. basement, the ceiling tiles were old and worn. We replaced every last one with fresh, clean 24×48 vinyl tiles and upgraded the lighting to 35 new LEDs, making the entire space feel brand-new. We also modernized 15 outlets (including 4 with USB charging) and installed dimmers and new wall plates for better lighting control.
The homeowner wanted a clean media setup, so we ran rough electrical and mounted a new TV outlet and bracket. To top it off, we swapped out 5 windows with new grid-style units, fully weatherproofed, trimmed, and sealed inside and out.
All in, the project totaled $35,000, with the flooring alone making up about $4,872 of that cost, a smart investment for a space that now feels polished, practical, and ready for anything.

First off, if I didn’t find Renewal Solutions, I would still be waiting for other contractors to finish my home remodel.
Unfortunately, I had 3 different contractors (that didn’t finish the job) before I found Tom and Renewal Solutions.

A Full Roof Replacement That Led to a Whole-Home Comeback
This project started with storm damage and turned into a total transformation. The roof had to be replaced down to the framing, so we removed damaged joists, rebuilt the rear cornice, and installed GAF HDZ shingles with full weather protection underneath.
Inside, we brought the home back to life. We rewired and installed new LED lighting, rebuilt walls with fresh insulation and paint, laid over 570 sq. ft. of natural hardwood flooring, and finished it all with new baseboards.
The kitchen was fully restored, and we renovated a second-floor bathroom with brand-new tile and subfloor.
